About Tightly
Tightly is about empowering omnichannel brands to master their inventory and their cash flow. We are the Inventory Planning & Purchasing Intelligence Platform built for the complexity of modern commerce. With a culture that is all-in on impact, innovation, and customer obsession, Tightly is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking supply chain technology—and your career—to the next level.
About the Job
We are looking for a Solutions Engineer who combines technical aptitude with exceptional people skills. In this role, you will be the technical engine behind our sales process. You don't need to come in as a retail expert—we will teach you the intricacies of the supply chain. What we need from you is the technical intuition to navigate data challenges and the confidence to guide customers through critical Pilots and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
Tightly sits as the intelligence layer on top of a merchant's ERP and sales channels. Your job is to ensure that the data translation is flawless. You will work with prospective customers to validate their inputs, using your technical toolkit (SQL, Python, AI) to troubleshoot anomalies and ensure that the purchasing plans Tightly generates are based on accurate, clean signals.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO:
- Lead Technical Pilots & PoCs: Own the most critical phase of the sales cycle. You will guide the prospect through the data ingestion process, ensuring the Tightly platform accurately models their business logic before the deal is closed.
- Bridge the Data Gap: While our platform handles the heavy lifting, you will use your technical skills (SQL, Python) to troubleshoot edge cases. If a customer's data format doesn't match the system of record, you find the fix to unblock the deal.
