We are looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager who shares our values and is passionate about delivering high-quality care and learning experiences for children, while supporting and developing a strong team.
Role of a Deputy Nursery Manager
- Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day leadership and organisation of the nursery
- Take responsibility for the setting in the Nursery Manager’s absence
- Support the planning and coordination of rotas, routines and nursery operations
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding, health, safety and wellbeing are maintained
- Review and monitor compliance documentation
- Support quality assurance processes, inspection readiness and continuous improvement
- Contribute to self-evaluation and development planning
- Support, mentor and develop team members
- Assist with the induction of new team members
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Act as a calm and professional point of contact
- Support the organisation of resources and environments

Essential Requirements
- Experience in a senior practitioner, team leader or deputy role within a nursery setting
- Confidence supporting operational leadership and decision-making
Desirable
- Relevant early years qualification
- Experience supporting compliance, quality improvement or inspection preparation
Package
- Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 per annum

Work Pattern
- Monday to Friday - 7.15am – 6.15pm
