Reports To: Construction Team Leader
Role of a Construction Trainer
- Deliver construction and employability training sessions to groups of learners
- Facilitate experiential learning that builds confidence, communication and teamwork
- Support learners undertaking programmes, apprenticeships and training pathways
- Build strong, trusting relationships with learners
- Monitor, review and support learner progress
- Provide coaching, mentoring and constructive feedback
- Plan and prepare engaging sessions and learning resources
- Maintain accurate records in line with compliance requirements
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, employers and stakeholders
- Support learners to progress into employment, apprenticeships or further learning

Essential Requirements
- Experience working with young people or learners
- Experience delivering group-based learning or training
- Understanding of or experience within the construction sector
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

- Experience within training, education or employability programmes
- Teaching, training or coaching qualification (or willingness to work towards)
