We're looking for a PR Account Executive to join our B Corp agency and our team in Glasgow, working on exciting campaigns for some of the UK's best-known brands.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has already gained some hands-on PR or communications experience (including internships or placements) who's ready to roll up their sleeves, build their skills and make their mark in a creative, supportive agency environment.
You'll be part of a friendly, ambitious team where great ideas are encouraged, everyone's contribution counts and no two days are quite the same.
What you'll be doing
From spotting a story to seeing it make headlines, you'll get involved in all aspects of agency life, including:
- Making headlines: Finding newsworthy angles, pitching stories to journalists and helping secure brilliant media coverage.
- Getting creative: Writing engaging press releases, media pitches, social content and more.
- Bringing campaigns to life: Supporting creative PR campaigns, launches, events and influencer activity for some fantastic brands.
- Building connections: Developing relationships with journalists, influencers, clients and colleagues.
- Keeping your finger on the pulse: Monitoring the news, spotting trends, tracking coverage and finding opportunities for our clients.
- Making things happen: Working across different accounts, keeping projects on track and getting stuck into whatever the day brings.
A little about you
You don't need to know everything (that's what we're here to help with!), but we'd love you to bring:
- Experience in PR, communications or a related field – agency experience, internships and placements all count.
- A genuine passion for PR, media and storytelling, with a curiosity about what's making the news.
- Strong writing skills, a creative spark and an eye for detail.
- Confidence to communicate, share ideas and start building relationships with the media.
- Great organisational skills and the ability to juggle different tasks and deadlines.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in, learn and grow.
- A collaborative spirit – someone who enjoys being part of a team and having a bit of fun along the way.
- Experience using media databases or PR tools is a bonus, but not essential. We're far more interested in your enthusiasm, potential and willingness to learn.
