The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Monday to Friday - from 8am till 5pm

Location - 1h30 max away from South Wimbledon

At least 3 years' working with either CCTV or Access Control systems is required.

Proficient computer network user.

A valid clean driving licence is essential.

Valid ECS/FESS Card for site-based work.

The person will mainly be required to work in and around the M25 with some further locations when needed.

The ideal candidate will be competent and have a strong background in installation of Access Control and CCTV systems.

Responsibilities
  • Install CCTV, access control, door entry and security systems to specified standards.
  • Read job sheets, specification documents, site plans and project meetings (where relevant) and prepare all necessary equipment to complete jobs.
  • Troubleshooting faults.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in an on-call rota for emergency call-outs 1 week in 7.
Experience
  • Proven experience and work history as Installation Engineer.
  • Knowledge of integrating CCTV, access control, and door entry systems into a cohesive security solution, including connecting devices to network infrastructure and configuring system settings for interoperability.
  • Understanding of electrical principles and regulations to safely install power supplies, transformers, and backup batteries for CCTV, access control, and door entry systems, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with electrical standards.
  • Proficiency in configuring system settings, user permissions, access levels, and other parameters using software applications or device interfaces to meet client requirements and operational needs.
  • Diagnostic abilities to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Good communications and excellent customer interactions.

Valid driving license for UK.

Must have experience working with:

  • CCTV - Hikvision, Hanwha, Avigilon, EagleEye and Vista
  • Access Control - Paxton, ACT, Salto, Brivo and Gallagher
  • Door Entry - Fermax, BPT, Videx and 2N

Overtime and Saturday are paid at 1.5 rate, travel time is also paid, Sundays and Public holidays are paid at 2x.
