About the Role

A leading organisation in the technology and infrastructure sector is looking for an experienced Head of PMO to drive the strategic direction of its programme management function. This role will focus on delivering large-scale operational and capital transformation projects, ensuring efficiency, governance, and structured project execution.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across operations, finance, legal, and partnerships, you will develop best-in-class PMO frameworks, streamline reporting structures, and manage risks, dependencies, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a high-performing PMO function.
  • Develop reporting frameworks to track programme performance.
  • Implement and oversee governance, risk, and change control processes.
  • Manage project gate reviews and ensure quality assurance of deliverables.
  • Support integration of new business assets and acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support bids and tenders.
  • Oversee financial tracking and cost controls across key programmes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Need:

3+ years’ experience in a PMO leadership role within a complex operational environment.

✔ Knowledge of programme governance, risk management, and reporting frameworks.

✔ Experience using PMO software and project management methodologies (Prince2, PMP, or equivalent).

✔ Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working at senior levels.
