We are supporting a leading UK engineering mission-critical systems for defence and maritime platforms. They are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to play a key role across the full systems lifecycle, from concept through to in-service support.
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be an experienced Systems Engineer who enjoys working across multidisciplinary teams on electro-mechanical and software-driven systems.
- Lead systems engineering activities across the full product lifecycle (concept, development, production and support)
- Work closely with software, electrical and mechanical engineering teams
- Deliver engineering work packages to agreed time, cost and quality targets, with some travel required depending on project needs
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Mathematics or Physics (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and product lifecycles
- Broad engineering awareness across software, mechanical and electrical disciplines
- Experience producing high-quality technical documentation, specifications and reports
- UK Driving Licence
- Eligible for UK Security Clearance
