Role Overview<\/b><\/span><\/h3>We are seeking an experienced Sub -Contracts Manager<\/b><\/span> to oversee the commercial and contractual management of software and technology subcontractors throughout the contract lifecycle. The role will focus on software licensing, supplier governance, contract novation, and handback/exit management, ensuring commercial, legal and operational risks are effectively managed.<\/p>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/span><\/h3>Manage subcontract agreements from award through to completion, renewal and termination.<\/li>Lead the commercial and contractual management of software licensing agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.<\/li>Manage contract novation activities, ensuring seamless transfer of contractual rights and obligations.<\/li>Plan and oversee supplier handback and exit activities, including transition planning, knowledge transfer and asset management.<\/li>Support procurement, legal and operational teams during contract negotiations and variations.<\/li>Monitor supplier performance, compliance, risks and contractual deliverables.<\/li>Resolve contractual issues and disputes whilst protecting the organisation’s commercial interests.<\/li>Maintain accurate contract documentation and reporting.<\/li><\/ul>Essential Experience<\/b><\/span><\/h3>Proven experience as a Sub -Contracts Manager<\/b><\/span>, Commercial Manager or Contracts Manager within an IT, technology or software environment.<\/li>Strong understanding of software licensing<\/b><\/span> and software supplier agreements.<\/li>Experience managing contract handback, exit and transition<\/b><\/span> activities.<\/li>Experience leading contract novation<\/b><\/span> processes.<\/li>Strong knowledge of subcontract management, commercial governance and contract administration.<\/li>Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/span>
