Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Infra – Lots of work; on-prem legacy systems being maintained while transitioning to the cloud.

Traditional Skillset:

• VMware → ESX – performance tuning
• SAN – Vulnerability management

On-prem – 70% on-prem, 30% cloud

Networking – Understand entry and fundamentals

Experience with:

• SAN Storage
• VMware
• Firewalls / Antivirus / Load balancers
• Compatibility with DRAS, App Support
• Cloud – Need a blend
• PSD-2
• Financial systems
• LTS

Azure:

• IAC (Infrastructure as Code)
• Powershell
• Terraform
