We are looking for a skilled Electromechanical Technician to join a high-performing manufacturing team working on advanced navigation and sensing equipment. This is a hands-on role focused on the assembly, testing, and refinement of complex electromechanical systems.

The Role

  • Assemble, test, and rework complex electromechanical equipment to a high standard
  • Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Carry out precision tasks including soldering, wiring, crimping, drilling, and detailed rework of assemblies
  • Inspect and verify your own work, as well as supporting quality checks across the team
  • Troubleshoot issues and support root cause analysis and resolution
  • Contribute to the creation and improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Raise and document defects using internal systems
  • Accurately input and manage data within company systems
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with 5S and quality standards
  • Collaborate with team members to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support wider operational activities as required

About You

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical and analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Hands-on experience with electromechanical assembly techniques
  • Good level of PC literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proactive team player with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage priorities effectively

Desirable

  • Experience within a cellular manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to radar, navigation, or similar high-reliability systems
