This is a regional Delivery Manager position with full operational responsibility for the North of the UK — spanning from North Wales across to Sheffield and Scarborough, and up to Scotland.

You will take ownership of delivering bus and rail advertising campaigns across this region, ensuring adverts are installed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role is highly field-based, involving regular visits to bus depots, working closely with subcontractors, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

You will manage 3–5 key contractors and directly line manage a Warehouse Manager, taking full accountability for the successful delivery of advertising campaigns across your region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regional delivery ownership: Take full accountability for the volume of advertising campaigns assigned to your region, ensuring adverts are successfully installed across buses and trains in line with contractual commitments.
  • Campaign delivery management: Monitor delivery progress against campaign schedules, proactively manage late or additional workloads, and communicate any risks or delays to stakeholders to protect on-time delivery.
  • Depot visits & relationship management: Regularly visit bus depots and operational sites to build strong working relationships, ensure smooth execution, and maintain high service standards across all locations.
  • Supplier & subcontractor management: Work closely with subcontractors responsible for advert installation, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and safety standards while delivering campaigns “right first time.”
  • Supplier management, quality & assurance: Validate supplier data and audit campaign delivery (right campaign, right asset, right time), ensuring compliance with H&S and operational standards across all contracts.
  • Special campaigns & regional operations: Lead the delivery of non-standard and special campaigns (e.g. creative installs, bus wraps, rail impact campaigns), ensuring clear planning and execution controls are in place.
  • Asset standards, maintenance & cost control: Ensure bus framing and maintenance is completed on time and within budget, while maintaining rail assets in line with required electrical and structural compliance standards.
  • Warehouse & team leadership: Oversee the Leeds warehouse operation and line manage the Warehouse Manager, ensuring efficient stock handling, preparation, and dispatch of advertising materials.
What You’ll Love About This Role
  • Think Big: Drive improvements across a large and diverse region by identifying risks early and enhancing how campaigns are delivered.
  • Own It: Take full responsibility for delivery performance across multiple contracts and locations, with clear accountability and visible impact.
  • Keep it Simple: Resolve operational challenges quickly by aligning teams, suppliers, and stakeholders with practical solutions.
  • Better Together: Collaborate closely with franchise partners, subcontractors, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to continuously improve delivery standards.
What Success Looks Like
  • Built strong relationships with depot teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders across the region.
  • Established clear oversight of campaign delivery, including tracking, reporting, and escalation processes.
  • Ensured consistent advert installation performance across buses and rail assets.
  • Successfully taken ownership of 3–5 key contracts and the Leeds warehouse operation.
  • Delivered strong audit and quality assurance processes across your region.
What You’ll Need
  • Operations management experience (essential): Strong background in operational or logistics management, with experience delivering services across multiple sites or regions.
  • Transport sector experience (desirable): Experience within the bus, rail, or wider transport sector is beneficial but not essential.
  • Supplier & contract management: Proven ability to manage subcontractors and third-party suppliers, ensuring performance, quality, and compliance.
  • Field-based leadership: Comfortable working across a large geographic region, managing relationships and performance on-site.
  • Communication & stakeholder management: A clear and proactive communicator, able to manage expectations and influence outcomes at all levels.
  • Autonomy & collaboration: Able to work independently while remaining closely connected to wider teams and business objectives.
  • Flexibility & travel: Willing to travel regularly as part of the role (typically 3 days on-site, 1 day working from home, and 1 day in the office in the Manchester/Leeds area).
  • IT skills: Confident using Microsoft Office tools for reporting, tracking, and communication.
  • Coaching & development: Ability to support and develop team members, including direct reports.
