Role Overview
Reporting to: General Manager
Role Purpose: Collaborate with ACEs (Architects, Consultants, and Engineers) to promote awareness and preference for the organisation’s solutions in the design and specification of safety and security systems and support ACE to make designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify ACEs in the market, maintain existing relationships, and proactively establish connections with key influencers.
- Develop and manage local ACE programs focused on securing the specification of the organisation’s unified critical communications (UCC) solutions, including PAVA, intercom, and platform integrations.
- Provide relevant content to support program success, including customer use cases, innovative design concepts, and product feature highlights.
- Assist Commercial teams in organising and delivering ACE meetings and presentations.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert for Commercial teams, offering support during complex UCC project bids.
- Enhance the capabilities, key system integrators, and the organisation’s COEs (Centres of Excellence) through tailored training programs and promotion of e-learning programs.
- Act as a liaison between Commercial teams and Product Management to ensure local market needs are clearly communicated and addressed.
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify solution gaps to strengthen the organisation’s market positioning.
- Influence customer requirements and drive preference for the organisation’s solutions among strategic end customers.
- Identify business opportunities with ACEs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and well-structured.
- Self-driven and motivated.
- Proficient in English and MS Office (Excel, Word etc.).
- Technical and commercial understanding (ideally an engineering background with commercial skills).
- Customer-focused and business development-driven.
- Analytical problem-solving approach.
- Ability to travel.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in solution architecture / bid support.
- Experience in the design, estimating, and bid management of system-based projects.
- Knowledge of PAVA and IP audio systems and integrations (beneficial).
- Experience with integrated communication system design and implementation (beneficial).
Education
- IP & data networking skills / qualifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Computer Science.
