Tiger Private is looking for a Live-in Kitchen Assistant to support a Private Chef in a private residence in North London. This role would suit an established cook, looking to further develop their experience in the kitchen. The role involves assisting with daily kitchen operations and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assist with food preparation, including chopping, measuring, and organising ingredients
- To support meal plating, serving, and cleaning up the kitchen and dishes after meals and meal preparation
- To ensure the kitchen is kept clean, hygienic, and well-organised at all times
- To assist with food storage, proper labelling, and ensuring that ingredients are fresh and well-maintained
- Occasionally contribute to menu planning and research recipes tailored to specific dietary needs
- Ordering supplies
- Preparing the meals on Saturdays and if/when the private chef is away on holiday
Requirements:
- Previous experience with cooking
- Good command of English language
- A background or interest in nutrition is highly advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining flexibility
- Professional demeanour
Hours:
Working hours are 11am to 8pm with 1 hour break, 5 days a week from Tuesday to Saturday.
Salary:
Salary between £40,000 and £45,000 per annum. Position is live-in and full-time. Accommodation will be provided in a Private Apartment, with your own bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living space.
