An industry leading and mission driven organisation is looking for an Executive Assistant to support one of their high profile Executive Directors.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

This is a very busy role where you’ll be joining an energetic, collaborative team working on a 1:1 basis supporting an Executive Director. You will be part of a team that is passionate about what they do and has a wealth of experience to pass on to the successful candidate! You’ll be responsible for liaising with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally, on behalf of the ED and will have a high level of attention to detail and strong experience with complex scheduling.

  • Extensive diary management – coordinating internal and external meetings, often across international time zones
  • Inbox management – monitoring and drafting responses on ED’s behalf
  • Stakeholder management
  • Event and meeting management
  • International travel coordination including visas, itineraries, and transport
  • Expense management

WHO YOU ARE

This role requires someone who has previous Executive Assistant experience, supporting in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, coupled with curiosity and a vibrant personality, is a must for this role. You will be communicating with senior people and industry leaders not only within the business but also externally and must have the confidence to do this. You will be a problem solver and someone who can think and act on behalf of the ED when needed.

Essential requirements:

  • Top level communication skills, both written and verbal
  • 2+ years experience working in a busy Executive Assistant role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and pressured environment whilst ensuring no mistakes are made
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Experience working and interacting with high profile figures

Desired requirements:

  • Experience within the private and/or corporate sector
  • A general understanding of current affairs and politics
  • Support for the organisation and its aims
  • University degree
