The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
· Execute depot pull, filling the back of a trailer at the depot and transporting it to a hub.
· Engage in customer work, taking the vehicle to a customer to collect a trailer, delivering it to a hub, and returning to the depot.
· Assist with loading and unloading at customer sites and in the depot.
· Perform drop and swap operations, sometimes using a tail lift, and occasionally doing trailer swaps requiring uncoupling the vehicle.
· Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries.
· Travel to local sites for a one-off download of the tacho card prior to being put forward for the position.
· Attend an on-site induction for the first shift.
· Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
· Have at least 6 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
· Less than 12 infringement points in any one month and no infringement points for three consecutive months.
· Flexibility to work shifts across Monday to Sunday with start times from 12 pm – 9 pm (all paid at night rate).
· Ability to travel to local site for tacho card download prior to being put forward.
· Full understanding of WTD legislation.
· Excellent communication skills.
· A safety-first mindset.
