Job Description

This post relates to Vacancies at Tiger Cubs Day Nursery, not Tiger Primary School.

Tiger Cubs Day Nursery are looking for Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our team; the successful applicants will be motivated and enthusiastic individuals with the ability to use their own initiative. We have 2 roles available: 27.5 hours per week and 26 hours per week. The working hours would be around the nursery opening times of Monday-Friday 7:30pm-6:00pm. shift patterns will be discussed at interview.

The main duties of the role include:

· Ensuring the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.

· Working in partnership with parents and also fellow colleagues.

· Maintaining child development and observat17ion records.

· Following and implementing all policies and procedures set out by the nursery.

· Ensuring the key person approach is fully instilled in everyday practice.

Applicants will need to demonstrate some recent experience in a childcare setting which can be referenced and able to demonstrate their knowledge of the developmental and learning needs of young children. You will also need to be a positive role-model to colleagues, students and visitors to the nursery.
