We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Merchandising Intern for 6 months. The Merchandising Intern will support the Merchandising Manager primarily with the Fine Jewellery category co-ordination.
In partnership with market and zone cross-functional teams, the Merchandising Intern will support the Merchandising Manager in their role of developing and executing the UK & Ireland merchandising strategy for Tiffany & Co. with a retail-first mentality and client-centric approach.
Key Accountabilities:
- Data-driven Performance Analysis Reporting: Conduct in-depth weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales performance analysis, identifying key trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Track and report on product performance against established KPIs including AUR sales. Maintain and update comprehensive merchandising dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for the team.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Liaise with Operation Logistics on store-to-store transfers. Collaborate with Marketing to ensure consistent product messaging in line with merchandising strategy. Work with Visual Merchandising to align on product presentation strategies and store layout.
- Retail Stores support: Assist with processing and tracking client-specific orders and sold items to ensure smooth fulfilment. Facilitate product knowledge sharing and training materials for retail associates.
- Creative Assets development: Create lookbooks and other materials to support Retail teams in selling.
- Administrative support: Assist with presentation materials for internal meetings. Facilitate clear and consistent communication between merchandising department and Retail teams on product updates, initiatives. Provide general administrative assistance.
Qualifications:
- Must currently be based in London/United Kingdom
- Must currently hold authorization to work in the United Kingdom
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Excel
- Excellent written/verbal communication and diplomacy skills
- Process-oriented with sound decision-making skills
- Self-motivated with a strong drive for achievement
- Proven ability to function effectively in a highly dynamic team environment (ability to multi-task is essential)
- Possess overall luxury aesthetic sensibility
- Interest in Jewellery, retail trends and consumer behaviour
- Fluent in English
Preferred:
- Prior Merchandising or Retail experience would be beneficial, preferably in a luxury brand
- Knowledge of basic retail concepts and calculations preferred
