In this vital role, you’ll become the backbone of our growing team, ensuring the smooth running of our front-office operations and supporting our mission of holistic, independent living. To support our next phase of growth, we're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive and personable Business Support Specialist to become a central part of our operations.

Your Role

As our new Business Support Specialist, you will work directly with our leadership team and play a crucial part in keeping our people, processes, and payroll running smoothly. This is a highly varied role that would suit someone who thrives on responsibility, loves solving problems, and brings positive energy to their work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support
    • Manage day-to-day office administration and digital filing systems
    • Handle travel bookings, event coordination, and supplier liaison
    • Prepare reports, documents, and presentations as needed
  • Personal Assistant (PA) Duties
    • Provide high-level support to the founder and leadership team
    • Act as a point of contact internally and externally, managing communications and tasks
    • Assist with project tracking, task follow-ups, and deadline management
    • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Payroll & HR Administration
    • Process monthly payroll and liaise with external payroll providers
    • Ensure employee records are accurate and up-to-date
    • Track holidays, absences, and benefits administration
    • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
    • Help ensure HR policies and procedures are followed

Who You Are

  • Proven experience in a similar admin, PA or payroll role (at least 2–3 years) Preferred but not essential
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and deadlines with a calm, can-do attitude
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and confident handling confidential information
  • Tech-savvy: proficient in tools like Google Workspace, Excel, Slack, and payroll systems
  • Experience in a startup, supported living space is a bonus.
