As a Senior Network Consultant, you will deliver secure network solutions that drive customer success and business transformation. You will be hands‑on, self‑driven, and always looking for ways to add value, whether that’s designing next‑generation SD‑WAN, leading a customer workshop, or mentoring the team.
Key Responsibilities- Architect, configure, and deploy enterprise network solutions (SD‑WAN, SASE, Wi‑Fi, firewalls) that solve real customer challenges.
- Act as a trusted escalation point, blending hands‑on support with strategic consultancy to ensure customer networks remain resilient, optimised, and aligned with SLA commitments.
- Lead projects from presales and scoping through design, staging, installation, documentation, and handover.
- Guide customers on secure connectivity, digital transformation, and best practices.
- Share new knowledge with the team, mentor others, and help everyone improve every day.
- Spot opportunities to improve, automate, and adopt new tech—proactively seize them.
- Represent TIEVA at customer meetings, present confidently, and build strong relationships.
- Keep expertise up‑to‑date, pursue new certifications, and embrace continuous learning.
- Actively demonstrate TIEVA’s spirit—positive, ambitious, and always customer‑focused.
- Minimum of three (or working towards) certifications: Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) in Network Security (ideally FortiGate and FortiManager), Cisco CCNP Enterprise (or relevant track), working towards Fortinet Certified Solution Specialist (FCSS) in Secure SD‑WAN and SASE, Aruba Certified Professional (ACP) in Mobility and ClearPass; Aruba Certified Expert (ACX) is a big plus, Barracuda Certified Engineer (BCE) or equivalent, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE certifications.
- Strong foundation in TCP/IP, Ethernet, routing, switching, and security design.
- Experience delivering enterprise SD‑WAN, SASE, and Zero Trust solutions to support hybrid and cloud‑first strategies.
- Proficient with advanced technologies: IP fabrics, VXLAN/EVPN, SDN, and automation to standardise and optimise network operations.
- Key vendor expertise with Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager), Cisco (routing & switching), Palo Alto (PCNSE), and Aruba (ClearPass, Mobility).
- Confident communicator and presenter.
- Experience managing multiple client environments in an MSP setting.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and project delivery.
- Self‑motivated, independent, and proactive.
