Tieto Payment is the leading payments and cash management software and SaaS provider in the Nordics on a trajectory for global growth. We are seeking an experienced sales manager who will take the responsibility of sales of our payments offering. We will jointly define the geographic regions where she operates and will contribute significantly to the success of our business goals and growth strategy.

Following an extended focus on payments, we have a newly positions for a senior sales manager. Tieto Payment develops account to account payment solutions for banks intended for use by retail and corporate customers, offered through their banking relationship.

With us you will be responsible for:

  • Driving sales and business development to build pipeline and close deals to meet our strategic targets and growth strategy.
  • Negotiation and closing of contracts.
  • Leading pre‑sales teams in sales processes.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Building relationships with potential new customers, identify and develop leads.
  • Managing pipeline and closing deals.
  • Lead contract negotiation with bid teams.
  • Executing go‑to‑market plan together with sales and marketing teams.
  • Maintaining relationship with potential customers and own sales case until handover to Delivery.
  • Developing and closing contracts and project statements of work with customers.
  • Supporting compliance and other audit activities with customers.
  • Contributing to thought leadership in Payments area.

We expect you to have:

  • Demonstrable and successful track‑record of winning new strategic, long‑term deals.
  • Experience and understanding of the payments, cash management or transaction banking business domain.
  • B2B software sales experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrable negotiating skills.
  • Experience with writing and negotiating contracts.
  • High‑level sales or executive presentation skills with ability to gain credibility and trust with a variety of technical and non‑technical stakeholders and influencers within the customer organizations.
  • Excellent written (technical), presentation and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent language skills in English, verbal and written. Other major European languages are considered a benefit.
