We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking farm manager to manage a 2,200 acre family farm in the heart of the Cotswolds. The successful candidate will work alongside the estate owner and two neighbouring farms with which there is a machinery sharing arrangement.

Location: near Cirencester. The farm predominantly grows arable crops moving towards regenerative farming with a key focus on conservation. There is a tenant on part of the grassland running a pedigree Dexter suckler herd and a sheep grazier occupies further grassland along with spring cover crops.

Applicants Must Have:

  • BASIS and FACTS PA1 and PA2 spraying qualifications, plus PA4, S&G and PA6 Telehandler certificate
  • Full knowledge of the Countryside Stewardship Mid-Tier Scheme and Sustainable Farming Incentive
  • Must be IT literate including experience of Gatekeeper software or similar software
  • Knowledge of livestock systems
  • Experience of overseeing staff, managing budgets and strong attention to detail
