This is a new and exclusive opportunity for a strong Java software development leader to join a front office software development team focused on Sales and Trading Derivatives platforms.
This is a permanent, hybrid role in London with a base salary plus bonus and pension.
Responsibilities Lead the Front Office Derivatives IT Development team (6-8 developers) to deliver software from inception to deployment with a global system architecture that fully supports Front Office desks.
Manage and mentor a hands-on development team with extensive Java/Python/C# expertise.
Collaborate with front office stakeholders and trading systems to ensure alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements.
Own the complete Front Office Derivatives technology stack and drive successful software delivery.
Qualifications Advanced core development experience in Java.
Experience as a people manager with a track record of building successful development teams.
Experience working with front office stakeholders and Front Office Trading systems.
Knowledge of derivatives banking structures is preferred.
