Join our team as a Sales Assistant at our busy Cheltenham branch, where you\’ll play a key role in helping trade and retail customers find the right plumbing and heating solutions.About the RoleAs a Sales Assistant, you\’ll be the first point of contact for customers, providing advice, support, and product knowledge to ensure a smooth and positive shopping experience. Whether you’re helping a local tradesperson find the right part or managing stock displays, your role is essential to the day-to-day success of our store.What You’ll Be Doing

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Provide knowledgeable advice on plumbing and heating products
• Process sales at the counter and over the phone
• Maintain well-organised and visually appealing product displays
• Monitor and replenish stock levels as needed
• Work closely with the warehouse and trade counter team to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction
• Keep the showroom clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards
• Promote special offers and upsell complementary products
• Support deliveries and customer collections when requiredWhat We’re Looking For
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and customer-first attitude
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in a sales or customer service role (experience in a plumbing & heating merchant or trade counter environment is a bonus!)
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and heating products – or a willingness to learn quickly
• A valid UK driver’s licence (occasionally assisting with deliveries)What We Offer
