We are currently recruiting a time-served CNC Miller to join the busy workshop of our Engineering client, based in the Huddersfield area. This is a temporary role with a view of going permanent after 12 weeks or could potentially be a straight permanent role, for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Set, operate & program CNC mills (HURCO & Siemens).
- Work from technical drawings to tight tolerances.
- Produce high-quality precision components.
- Carry out first-off inspections and maintain quality throughout production.
Qualifications
- Fully time-served with strong CNC milling skills.
- Confident with tooling, speeds & feeds.
- Eye for detail and pride in your work.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and high attention to detail.
- Beneficial if you have worked in a subcontract environment and potentially program offline.
Hours, salary and benefits
- Hours are 07:15 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday / 07:15 - 12:30 Friday.
- Pay rate is up to £18 per hour DOE.
- Pension, holidays, and a supportive team.
