We are currently recruiting a time-served CNC Miller to join the busy workshop of our Engineering client, based in the Huddersfield area. This is a temporary role with a view of going permanent after 12 weeks or could potentially be a straight permanent role, for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Set, operate & program CNC mills (HURCO & Siemens).
  • Work from technical drawings to tight tolerances.
  • Produce high-quality precision components.
  • Carry out first-off inspections and maintain quality throughout production.

Qualifications

  • Fully time-served with strong CNC milling skills.
  • Confident with tooling, speeds & feeds.
  • Eye for detail and pride in your work.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and high attention to detail.
  • Beneficial if you have worked in a subcontract environment and potentially program offline.

Hours, salary and benefits

  • Hours are 07:15 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday / 07:15 - 12:30 Friday.
  • Pay rate is up to £18 per hour DOE.
  • Pension, holidays, and a supportive team.
