Position: Technical Sales Engineer
Essential Requirements:
- Valve and/or rotating equipment market knowledge
- A technical sales background with a positive, can-do attitude.
- A natural ability to build relationships with strong communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid experience in internal sales and stock control, with a proactive approach to projects
- BEng, HND, HNC, or similar in Mechanical or Automation Engineering is advantageous, but not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Working within the global valve market, dealing with clients’ requirements
- Strengthening and building client relationships
- Providing knowledgeable technical support and resolving customer questions, concerns, and product issues with confidence.
- Managing and processing customer enquiries, quotations, and orders to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Following up on high-value quotes and gathering feedback to drive insights for the team.
- Using our in-house systems for accurate documentation, project tracking, and reporting.
- Coordinating sales projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery that exceeds customer expectations.
- Maintaining thorough records and ensuring customer certification requirements are met at each stage.
- Collaborating with suppliers to uphold delivery timelines and efficient stock management.
- Bringing a proactive, solution-oriented mindset to team meetings and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
