What will you do? Make an impact!

The primary purpose of this position is to support key stakeholders to achieve our Net Zero Objectives and Sustainable Development Goals.

You will be involved with:

  • Collating data from our operational activities, benchmarking baseline data and reporting UK performance aligned with Tradebe Global Corporate Sustainability Reporting.
  • Engaging with Subject Matter Experts, utilising analytical skills to identify & develop improvement programmes.
  • Support the commercial teams to assist our customers quantify the carbon savings for their waste streams, demonstrating where the benefits of our bespoke solutions and operations can assist our customers with achieving their sustainability goals.
  • Producing project specific carbon footprint studies, monitoring performance, creating various analytical and written reports.

The ultimate aim of the role is to identify best practice, support projects & initiatives leading to improved sustainability performance.

We monitor our activities, collate data and report with reference to Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) and Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) standards of material topics including Wastes, Energy, Water & Effluents and Emissions. Utilising the data that we gather we are now implementing our road map to achieve our Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2040 and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Do you have what it takes?

  • Environmental Science Degree or similar from UK/EU based Universities
  • Knowledge in Sustainability Development for Social Values and Environmental matters.
  • Interest in the benefits waste management activities have on the circular economy, energy management and carbon reduction.
  • Knowledge and interest in Environmental Legislation, Guidance and Standards
  • Ability to conduct research studies, apply conclusions and make recommendations for continual improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical approach with a pro-active attitude
  • Good Excel and MS Office skills
