We are looking for a dedicated Environmental Advisor to join the Hinkley Point C project team. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring compliance with UK environmental legislation and best practices on one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects. You will work closely with contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders to support environmental compliance across the site. This is a site-based role offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the successful and sustainable delivery of a nationally critical energy project.

What We're Looking For

  • Essential:
  • Degree (or equivalent) in an environmental or related discipline
  • Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation relevant to construction
  • Experience operating within an Environmental Management System (e.g. ISO 14001)
  • Experience working on construction sites and engaging with regulators (e.g. EA, NE, MMO)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Desirable:
    • Knowledge of soil and materials management (e.g. CL:AIRE protocol)
    • Familiarity with EPR permit compliance
    • Aware of CDM Regulations 2015 and contractor responsibilities
