We are recruiting for a Freight Solutions Development Manager in the Birmingham area. The successful candidate will work with Customer Solutions & Account Management to identify, develop and deliver compelling value propositions with supporting resources for new and existing highly strategic customers. The role focuses on developing strategic client partnerships via win-win joint value creation initiatives to support building longer-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Develop, position, and demonstrate product-specific solutions during sales cycles.
- Support the Customer Solutions and Account Management teams to deliver compelling value propositions to the company’s most strategic existing and prospective customers.
- Identify, develop and deliver value propositions with supporting resources for new and existing strategic customers.
- Contribute to building long-term partnerships through strategic client collaboration and value creation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Supply Chain Management / Freight Forwarding consultative experience.
- Excellent communications skills, with the ability to engage and influence through verbal, written, and presentation methods (e.g., PowerPoint).
- Project / Change Management experience.
- Good networking skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Process Mapping experience.
- Interest in technology and digitisation within supply chain.
- Strategic sales education; Undergraduate degree in Business Management, Logistics or Supply Chain Management (preferred).
