Operating nationally, the business focuses on providing top quality safety-critical services for the protection of people, buildings and infrastructure.

About the role:

  • As a Fall Protection Engineer you will survey, test and install a variety of height safe equipment.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills in fulfilling the needs of our clients.
  • You will work efficiently whilst upholding health and safety standards through proficient use of risk and method statements.
  • Assist with mentoring support operatives through their height safety training.
  • Confident with installing height safety equipment.
  • Supporting with pre-tender site surveys providing technical design input to the Estimating team when needed.
  • Proficient in completing test and inspection reports detailing any further works needed for legislative compliance.

What you'll need:

  • Experience within the height safety industry.
  • A flexible approach to work with the ability to travel and lodge away from home when required.
  • Valid full UK driving licence.
  • Self-starter keen to get the job done.
  • Ability to use own initiative.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum 2 years experience with installation, test and repair of height safety systems, including cable based fall protection systems, abseiling points, Davit Arms/sockets, guard rails, eye bolts and fixed ladders.
  • CSCS card (preferable).
