Our growing Delivery Operations team within the Technology Department plays a key role in ensuring the data and services foundational to these outcomes are current, available, resilient and secure.

About The Role

We have an exciting part-time opportunity for a Service Owner to join the team to cover a period of maternity leave. You will work closely with and learn from existing IT Service Management colleagues (Service Owners and Operational Leads) gaining exposure to a wide range of OS products, modern working practices and technologies. You will provide governance around multiple IT Service practices ensuring Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) and customer expectations are met.

You will also

  • Monitor and provide management information on service deliverables
  • Manage incidents ensuring all stakeholders receive timely and relevant information
  • Facilitate controlled change whilst minimising service impacts
  • Analyse trends, scope and propose work to improve service stability and resilience
  • Document, prioritise and schedule other maintenance tasks

What We\’re Looking For

  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate into plain English
  • Confident and effective verbal and written communication with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Effective stakeholder management
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Demonstrates strong self-motivation and takes initiative, thriving both when working independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite products (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerBI etc.)
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification (desirable)

The Rewards

  • Salary – Β£37,650.00 – Β£43,925.00 (pro-rata, dependent on experience) – Hybrid working – 12-month Fixed Term Contract

Location

We embrace a hybrid working model at OS and understand there is no one size fits all in relation to how we work. We have a fantastic HQ in Southampton, Hampshire where you will be based and required to spend up to 2 days a week.
