Our growing Delivery Operations team within the Technology Department plays a key role in ensuring the data and services foundational to these outcomes are current, available, resilient and secure.
About The Role
We have an exciting part-time opportunity for a Service Owner to join the team to cover a period of maternity leave. You will work closely with and learn from existing IT Service Management colleagues (Service Owners and Operational Leads) gaining exposure to a wide range of OS products, modern working practices and technologies. You will provide governance around multiple IT Service practices ensuring Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) and customer expectations are met.

- Monitor and provide management information on service deliverables
- Manage incidents ensuring all stakeholders receive timely and relevant information
- Facilitate controlled change whilst minimising service impacts
- Analyse trends, scope and propose work to improve service stability and resilience
- Document, prioritise and schedule other maintenance tasks

- Ability to understand technical concepts and translate into plain English
- Confident and effective verbal and written communication with a wide range of stakeholders
- Effective stakeholder management
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Demonstrates strong self-motivation and takes initiative, thriving both when working independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Proficient with Microsoft suite products (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerBI etc.)
- ITIL v4 Foundation certification (desirable)

Location
We embrace a hybrid working model at OS and understand there is no one size fits all in relation to how we work. We have a fantastic HQ in Southampton, Hampshire where you will be based and required to spend up to 2 days a week.
