We are seeking a talented Senior Motion Designer to join our dynamic client with a collaborative team environment. They are a leading digital marketing and branding agency in Manchester and the role is hybrid, 2-3 days per week in office. If you have a passion for storytelling through motion and want to take a leading role in a design team, then this could be a great opportunity for you.
As a Senior Motion Designer, you’ll be at the forefront of exciting, high impact projects, leading by example and mentoring junior designers. You’ll have the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, from branding and digital campaigns to explainer videos and product animations. With your expertise, you’ll help push the boundaries of creativity and deliver outstanding motion design for their clients.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Taking a hands on approach to designing and delivering high quality motion graphics, animations, and video content for a wide range of digital marketing and branding campaigns.
- Leading and mentoring junior designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them develop their skills and grow within the team.
- Collaborating closely with creative leads, marketing teams, and clients to bring creative concepts to life with precision and innovation.
- Overseeing the entire motion design process from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring that every project meets high standards of creativity, quality, and performance.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring that deadlines are met while maintaining attention to detail.
- Staying up to-date with the latest trends and tools in motion design, and bringing fresh ideas and techniques to the table.
What we need you to have:
- Extensive experience as a Motion Designer, in an agency setting.
- A strong portfolio and showreel that demonstrates your creative expertise in motion design and animation.
- Proficiency in industry-standard motion design software, including Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Proven experience leading design projects and mentoring junior team members to help them reach their full potential.
- A solid understanding of branding, digital marketing, and how motion design plays a key role in these areas.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work under pressure while delivering high quality results.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and clients, translating creative briefs into visually engaging motion graphics.
