Role Purpose:
Ideagen is recruiting for a Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics & Insights. This is a critical hands-on role supporting the next phase of our accelerated growth. You will partner with the Chief Strategy Officer and Marketing Leadership, managing the commercial marketing insights team. You will be a trusted advisor, presenting and visualising data that will drive positive outcomes. You will take responsibility for central marketing analysis and ensure that a data-driven approach is front and centre to marketing engagement and activity. You will ensure that marketing outcomes are aligned to sales goals and have a keen eye on improving processes that drive efficient, quality pipeline generation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Leadership team to formulate and execute marketing strategies that align with the organisation's overall business objectives.
- Establish and manage a reporting cadence that includes the efficient distribution of insights, scorecards, and essential intelligence regarding funnel performance, pipeline generation, bookings, budget management, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and Return on Investment (ROI).
- Create executive-level visualisations and presentations that effectively communicate analytical findings.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Marketing Analysis & Insights; work in partnership with both central and regional marketing teams.
- Develop and monitor marketing KPIs and insights for Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Business Reviews, leveraging tools such as Power BI, Clari, and Salesforce reporting.
- Apply the Backwards Sales Plan methodology to provide insights that help identify effective marketing activities aligned with regional goals.
- Take a leadership role within the revenue operations team to ensure alignment of sales and marketing pipeline goals while fostering an environment of continuous improvement, growth, and development.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in an operational role supporting senior marketing management within a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment; experience in private equity-backed companies is an advantage.
- Operational experience in a multi-product and multi-market context.
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing processes and methodologies, coupled with exceptional organisational skills.
- Proven ability to act as a business partner with a service mentality, influencing and collaborating effectively with various stakeholders.
- A demonstrated enthusiasm for data analytics and business intelligence.
- Proficient in Excel with excellent analytical skills; attention to detail is critical.
- Previous experience with Power BI is advantageous.
- Outstanding written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of influencing and driving results in partnership with marketing leaders.
