Join a Leading Educational Institution as a Senior IT Technician β Slough. GSL Education is recruiting for a Senior IT Technician on behalf of a reputable school in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional to support and maintain the schoolβs IT infrastructure while ensuring seamless technology integration in classrooms.
Key Requirements
- DBS on the Update Service (mandatory)
- Strong working knowledge of SIMS
- MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Administrator 7/8 or MCITP: Windows 7 or Windows 8, Enterprise Desktop Support Technician
- MCSA Office 365 certified
- ITIL Foundation V3 or familiarity with ITIL-based methodologies
- Solid experience supporting Office 365 in educational settings, including Microsoft Teams/Classroom
- Previous experience working in an environment that serves young people
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced educational environment
Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting all IT systems across the school, including hardware, software, networks, and cloud services
- Providing on-site and remote support to staff and students
- Maintaining system security and compliance in line with safeguarding and data protection regulations
- Troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely solutions
- Supporting the use of IT in teaching and learning
