This Care Home is proud to be the number one recommended Care Home in Wales. We pride ourselves on offering the highest levels of person centred care in a homely and luxury setting. We are currently installing a Cinema Room, Pub and Cafe in order to make our Care Home truly unique in it\\\βs offering. All of our bedrooms offer wet floor en-suites and all rooms have beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
We are looking for experienced Senior carers or caring people who ideally have a passion to work in care.
Job Overview For Senior Care Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and Senior Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or home care settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal Senior Care Assistant will possess strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Β£14-Β£15.50 per hour
Responsibilities of Senior Care Assistant
- Support individuals in following their care plans and maintaining their independence. Caring for the residents at night.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
- Report any concerns to senior team.
- Some cleaning duties at night, laundry and kitchen vegetables prep.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents\\\β conditions.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge in care provision.
Skills for Senior Care Assistant
- Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and communicating with team members.
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact with residents and their families effectively.
- Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
