SC Cleared Sr AWS DevOps Platform Engineer

Location: hybrid working – 3 days in the London office

Current active SC Clearance required (used in last 12 months)

Essential skills/experience:

1. Current active SC clearance
2. Experience leading a small team of engineers and supporting as the technical owner of a project
3. AWS Platform DevOps, Infrastructure Automation & Deployment experience
4. Demonstrable experience in automating operations tasks with one or more scripting languages
5. Experience creating and/or maintaining production software delivery pipelines using common CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines, CircleCI)
6. Experience working with AWS (Azure/GCP experience is advantageous)
7. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)
8. A good understanding of Cloud security principles (e.g. IAM, KMS, AzureAD, Security Groups)
9. Experience mentoring/managing junior engineers

Desirable:

1. Experience supporting and operating production systems
2. Familiarity with configuration management tooling (e.g. Ansible)
3. Data Transformation tools
4. Python coding skills
