The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
DXC Technology is a global IT services leader delivering excellence for customers and colleagues. The role sits within the UK and will require client visits. Due to the nature of our client accounts, Security Clearance is required and, to obtain this for you, you must be a sole British National who has resided and worked in the UK consecutively for the last 5 years. We are unable to consider dual nationals currently.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with a varied customer base providing advice and support around FICO SAP configuration and business processes.
- Support and liaise with corresponding client teams to resolve issues, provide solutions, and support clients to meet contractual obligations.
- Deliver excellent customer service and build effective working relationships with colleagues, as well as internal and external customers.
- Deliver customer change by gathering and analysing requirements, defining, validating, and designing solutions.
- Translate requirements into estimates and functional specifications, detailing SAP configuration, ABAP changes, and security requirements.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
- Establish implementation / cutover plans and educate for ongoing support.
- Occasionally participate in short-term projects providing support for FICO-related activities.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a SAP FICO Consultant role.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in customizing and developing SAP FICO solutions using ABAP programming and enhancements.
- A good understanding and experience of FICO-related business processes.
- Experience of Functional Unit Testing, System Integration Testing and defect management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong personal and time management skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work at pace and manage own workload to meet challenging deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities; S/4HANA experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) is advantageous.
- Nice to have SAP Certified, or willingness to commit to a learning journey which will be encouraged and supported.
