The RAC Roadside Mechanic opportunity offers a base salary of £35,000 with an average OTE ranging from £43,000 to £53,000. The RAC is the UK's leading breakdown service provider with a team of 4,000 colleagues delivering best-in-class motoring services. This is a field-based Roadside Patrol role with a strong emphasis on technical expertise and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Handle diverse breakdowns and technical issues in a roadside environment.
- Provide technical support and deliver exceptional service to RAC members.
- Work face-to-face with customers, delivering timely and reliable assistance.
Qualifications
- A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
- Demonstrative technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
- A customer-focused approach.
- A full UK driving licence.
Salary and benefits
- Base salary £35,000 with an average OTE £43,000 – £53,000.
