The Principal Software Engineer will embed or support teams working on complex projects, ensuring high-quality software delivery with predictable velocity, resolving blockers, and improving team practices through coaching and guidance. Responsibilities Define and lead the engineering culture at the organizational level. Promote best practices in AI tools such as Devin, Replit, Co-Pilot, Cursor. Work autonomously on focus areas and impact mechanisms. Demonstrate and promote industry-recognized engineering practices for cloud platform SaaS solutions, focusing on scalability, resilience, and extensibility. Influence the technical strategic direction alongside engineering leadership. Externally promote IRIS\’s technical culture. Nurture and grow the internal technical culture.
