About REQUIREMENT INFORMATION Job Title: Power Platform Consultant Envisaged Hours: 37.5 per week Location: Culham, Oxfordshire Job Description Summary Building on the foundational work creating a Power Platform Centre of Excellence at UKAEA, this role involves developing applications within the team and providing consultancy services to help others in the organisation develop and deploy Power Platform applications and workflows. The role requires close collaboration with Finance, Projects, and Engineering teams to develop Power BI dashboards and integrate data sources. Strategy Leverage your experience and guidance such as the Power Platform Adoption Framework and the MS Power Platform Centre of Excellence. Assist with requirements gathering, prioritisation, and development of design blueprints. Development Develop Power Apps (canvas/model-driven), Power Automate workflows, and Power BI dashboards and reports as required. Utilize existing UKAEA data sources, tools, and approaches, and recommend new approaches like Common Data Service (CDS) and power agents. Ensure high-quality, resilient data with appropriate security, privacy, and accessibility. Follow the system development lifecycle, including analysis, development, configuration, documentation, testing, implementation, and review. Support Provide ongoing third-tier application support, analyze requests, and develop tools, documents, or training to resolve issues. Administration Administer the UKAEA Power Platform Admin Centre, coordinate with Windows Admin Section, and communicate policies and governance processes. Training Provide training and awareness activities for citizen developers and stakeholders, including hands-on training and facilitating handovers. Champions Contribute to the Power Platform Champions user group, organize talks, drop-in sessions, and workshops to promote skills and share ideas. Qualifications Microsoft Power Platform certifications (Fundamentals, Functional Consultant, Developer) Nice to have ITIL v3/v4 Foundation level qualification or equivalent Experience Extensive experience with MS PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI Strong organisational, facilitation, and problem-solving skills Ability to understand complex information and work methodically Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work within budget and meet deadlines Additional Information Rullion celebrates diversity and is committed to equal opportunities.
