About the Role

Tripod Partners are seeking a qualified ACT Pharmacy Technician with ward experience to join an NHS service based in Luton/Dunstable or Bedfordshire areas. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, with the potential for contract extension based on performance and service needs.

Key Duties

  • Accurately check and release dispensed medications in line with ACT accreditation and Trust policies.
  • Support safe and efficient medication supply across inpatient, outpatient, and discharge services.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical pharmacists and nursing staff to support medicines management on hospital wards.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to audits, ensuring compliance with governance and patient safety standards.

Essential Criteria

  • Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification.
  • Previous experience working in an NHS pharmacy setting.
  • Experience working in ward-based hospital pharmacy services.
  • Available to work on-site, Monday to Friday.
