On-Call Registered Nurse (RN)

We are adding an On-Call RN position to our team. Schedule: On-Call from 3:30pm to 8:30am Monday-Friday, and 24 hours a day on weekends. Every other week only. This position will be considered full-time and paid a full-time salary for working every other week. The role requires the ability to arrive at participants\’ homes within one hour of receiving a call. Locations: Bedford, PA, and surrounding communities Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, advise, teach, and coordinate care for older adult participants Evaluate participants for episodic illness after business hours in collaboration with the Provider Document care provided and changes in participant\’s condition in a timely manner Provide nursing care and prescribed treatments Demonstrate nursing care to participants and caregivers/families Required Skills and Qualifications Graduated from an accredited nursing school Minimum of one year of experience working with a frail or elderly population, preferably in long-term care, home care, or community health Experience in teaching patients and healthcare workers is preferred Registered Nurse licensed in Pennsylvania Valid PA Driver’s License Benefits Paid Time Off & Holidays Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Life Insurance Long Term Disability Insurance Automatic contribution to a 403(b) retirement plan Tuition Reimbursement Mileage Reimbursement at the federal rate Uniform Allowance Daily Pay Available #J-18808-Ljbffr
