We are seeking a Building Surveyor to join a social housing and support services company operating in and around North Staffordshire. The main responsibilities include supporting Responsive Repairs and maintenance teams by conducting approximately 6 surveys daily.
The role offers a £2,000 car allowance and hybrid working arrangements.

- Conduct detailed surveys on properties, diagnosing faults and failures, including inspections across voids and responsive repairs
- Inspect, measure, and prepare work schedules, including pre-inspections and diagrams or drawings as necessary
- Prepare detailed specifications, oversee contractors' work, ensuring quality, value, and progress in line with contracts and customer expectations
- Carry out Damp, Mould, and Condensation inspections, providing solutions aligned with ombudsman recommendations (AWAABs Law)
- At least 2 years of post-qualification experience as a social housing maintenance surveyor across core trades
- Experience with SORs
- Experience working in social housing
- Ability to document remedial actions in reports
- HND/HNC and health and safety qualifications
