Job Opportunity: Network Engineer (Smart Hands) – Contract Role
Location: Stirling, Scotland
Rate: £negotiable dependent on experience
TXP is currently recruiting for an experienced Network Engineer (Smart Hands) to support a critical on-site installation project for one of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Install a Sophos firewall and 2 x Sophos switches into a rack
Patch WAN/LAN connections and liaise with a remote Argon engineer to test internet connectivity
Patch switches and patch panels as directed
Test and verify staff and guest Wi-Fi functionality
Ensure VOIP phones are operational
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in hands-on network installations
Familiarity with Sophos hardware (firewalls and switches)
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Ability to work independently and follow remote instructions
