We are seeking a Network Automation Engineer to join a dynamic team in Slough/Maidenhead. This role is perfect for someone passionate about automation and network engineering, with a strong background in scripting and DevOps practices. You’ll be working in a hybrid environment, automating network operations, and driving innovation using cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain network automation solutions.
Utilize Python, Go, or Perl for scripting and automation.
Work with JSON, Ansible, Jinja2 for configuration and templating.
Implement RESTCONF, NETCONF, and APIs for network automation.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Troubleshoot and optimize automated network deployments.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in network engineering (with 3+ years in automation).
Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Perl.
Hands-on experience with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Jinja2).
Familiarity with RESTCONF, NETCONF, and APIs for automation.
Knowledge of DevOps & Agile methodologies (CI/CD, IaC).
Nice to Have:
Cisco DevNet, CCNP, JNCIP, or Fortinet NSE certifications.
