The NDT Radiographer Role
As an NDT Radiographer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of assemblies and components that will save lives worldwide. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing radiography using DR (Digital Radiography) and CT (Computed Tomography) to detect anomalies and incorrect assembly of components/assemblies.
- Conducting Leak Testing - Measuring the rate of escapement of helium from cartridges using a mass spectrometer.
- Conforming to Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, Explosive Safety, Audits and Procedures.
- Creating and driving a culture of continuous improvement using the 5S process.
- Collaborating with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to overcome technical issues.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate for this NDT Radiographer role will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Level 1 Radiographer ASNT Certification
- Experience in similar NDT roles
- Proficiency in using a digital x-ray system
- Experience in self-inspection
- Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and relevant documentation
- Understanding and interpretation of relevant test ATPs, QAI and relevant x-ray techniques
- Qualified to NAS410
