We are seeking experienced Multiskilled Technicians to join our growing team, supporting a diverse range of clients across industrial and educational sectors. Our work includes installing, maintaining, and repairing Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems and engineering workshop machinery. This is a field-based role, home-based within the Central Belt of Scotland, with occasional UK-wide travel. You’ll be part of a friendly, skilled, and supportive team that values quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
We are looking for candidates who have completed a full Electrical or Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship and have at least 1 year of post-apprenticeship experience. You will work across both disciplines (training provided where needed), carrying out maintenance, repairs, installations, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of machinery and LEV systems to meet compliance standards.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on client equipment, producing detailed service reports.
- Install, modify, and upgrade machinery and LEV systems, including electrical wiring and mechanical assembly.
- Commission machinery and systems electrically and mechanically following installations.
- Work both independently and as part of a team on-site.
- Workshop Machinery: Woodworking, metalworking, and other engineering machines.
- LEV Systems: Fan and filter units, ducting, and extraction systems.
- Electrical: Variable speed drives, soft starts, star/delta units, pressure switches, relays, PLC units.
