We are now looking for skilled HGV Trailer Technicians like you to join our team!
What you will be doing
- Covering breakdowns in a timely and professional manner.
- Conducting servicing and preventative maintenance on HGV Trailers both at our Fradley workshop and customers premises.
- Diagnose and repair faults in braking systems, suspension, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, wiring and chassis components.
- Replace and repair worn or damaged components such as wheels, axles and landing legs.
- Work efficiently to ensure vehicles are repaired within agreed timeframes.
- Follow health and safety procedures including wearing the appropriate PPE and ensuring you have carried out the relevant training for all manual handling equipment and use of tools.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working vehicle.
What you will need
- A reliable, safety-first approach.
- Proven experience in Trailer or HGV maintenance (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Excellent knowledge of vehicle legal standards and regulations.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Flexibility to travel regionally (on call to cover unexpected breakdowns).
- Ability to adapt to unexpected situations and demonstrate proactive problem solving.
