Staff Partners are currently looking for Community Mental Health Nurses (RGN Band 5/6), with a passion for delivering outstanding care. Role is based around Lancashire. Whether you are looking for block bookings, full-time, part-time, or ad hoc bookings, we are able to offer flexible options. Pay rate is up to £32 per hour.
Main Duties:
- Provide compassionate and competent care to patients and service users based on current evidence of best practice.
- Promote health and healing through observing, monitoring well-being, and evaluating the effectiveness of the care provided.
- Ensure patients’ needs are met by liaising with multidisciplinary team members including specialist nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers, as well as overseeing healthcare assistants, nursing associates, and students.
- Safeguarding responsibilities.
- Provide updates to colleagues, family members, and carers regarding patient care.
You will have:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- The sensitivity and energy required to provide trusting care for patients.
- A genuine desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
- Experience working in a community hospital setting.
- Car driver license – required for community visits.
