This is a unique opportunity! We are seeking to hire an experienced Medical Records Clerk to join our team. Our mission is to foster a positive team environment, promote collaboration, and continue to grow our reputation as the preferred source for skilled nursing/long-term care within the communities we serve.

Medical Records Clerk Expectations:

  • Filing and Organization: File and organize both physical and electronic patient records, ensuring they are readily accessible for healthcare providers.
  • Data Entry and Maintenance: Input and update patient information into electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Confidentiality and Security: Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive patient information, adhering to HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
  • Record Retrieval: Retrieve and release medical records as needed, including to patients, insurance companies, and other healthcare providers.
  • Record Management: Assist in archiving, culling, and destroying records according to established procedures.
  • Assist with Audits and Investigations: Provide documentation and assistance for audits and investigations as needed.
