Assists practitioners in the performance of procedures, manages telephone prescription orders/refills, maintains patient records, and relays test results. This traveler contract will be a shared position among Obstetrics & Gynecology, Orthopedics & Podiatry, and Surgical Associates, with assignments based on departmental needs.
NOTE: This is not a hospital CNA job. Clinic experience only.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Registered or Certified Medical Assistant required.
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
- Previous medical back-office experience/medical assistant training, and completion of a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant program required.
- Experience in applicable specialty area preferred.
- Lab/EKG experience preferred.
