Job Description

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Assists practitioners in the performance of procedures, manages telephone prescription orders/refills, maintains patient records, and relays test results.

This traveler contract will be a shared position among Obstetrics & Gynecology, Orthopedics & Podiatry, and Surgical Associates, with assignments based on departmental needs.

NOTE: This is not a hospital CNA job. Clinic experience only.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant required.
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
• Previous medical back-office experience/medical assistant training, and completion of a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant program required.
• Experience in applicable specialty area preferred.
• Lab/EKG experience preferred.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract
• Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• Afternoon shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday

Location:

• In person in Newport, OR (Required)

Relocation:

• Must relocate to Newport, OR before starting work (Required)
